CR’s Motto : Community Over Competition
I have a soft spot for community spirit rather than fierce competition. In the past, I used to daydream about owning my own store and supporting fellow entrepreneurs.
I've always admired family-run and women-led businesses, like the amazing Ruthie Grace Boutique in Texas, one of the many boutiques I love and spoil myself with. Tara Austin, the driving force behind the business, has been sharing her amazing journey ever since starting. Following her story and growing with the business while growing a family has been an inspiration. Now, even her husband has created a trendy men's boutique, Forged 86, which adds to their dynamic as a power couple. #inspiration #bossbabe #momboss
Tara's belief in "community over competition" really resonates with me. It's about encouraging each other, supporting dreams, and witnessing them flourish. She even puts forward tremendous effort to help educate other women owned business with her knowledge and experience .
In my business, I enjoy collaborating with local vendors , whether by stocking their products or hosting pop-up events to showcase them. Building connections, fostering authentic relationships, and providing exceptional customer service are my priorities.
In this past year, I connected with Brush Boutique in Mentor, OH, and the synergy is incredible. We support each other with inventory advice and motivational chats. Achieving our goals, especially empowering women, is all about teamwork, empowerment, and growing together with our wonderful community. I know I could send her a message right now about a struggle and she will listen, understand and see if we can figure it out together and vice versa!
With that being said, let's continue this journey of success together!
XOXO - Erica
